VOLUXIS, the international private jet charter and boutique aircraft management operator, has appointed industry veteran, George Rolls, as the company’s Chairman.
Andrew Boxer Missen, the Director of flight operations, said: “George’s profile, contacts and extensive understanding of our industry has greatly strengthened our experienced team. Over the past 20 years he has held various non-executive director positions in both public and private companies, many in business aviation, predominantly focusing on M&A and restructuring and growing the businesses that he has worked with, which will enhance our own growth plans going forward.”
On the appointment Rolls commented: “I am delighted to have been be asked to chair Voluxis and join such a refreshing and enthusiastic team of aviation professionals at this exciting stage of the company’s development, and I look forward to building on these first few months.”
George is a former trustee of the Geoffrey de Havilland Flying Foundation and has served as honorary secretary to The Royal Air Squadron. He started his non-executive role at VOLUXIS in October.
